About Eastbourne & Pevensey Pilates
Feel-good Pilates for the over 50s, gentle, sociable, and refreshingly free of pressure to be perfect.
Our approach
It's never too late to feel better in your body
Most people who come to me arrive a little stiff, a little achy, and quietly worried they’ve left it too late. They’re not sure they’ll keep up, whether they’ll fit in, or if Pilates is really ‘for them’. I promise you, I hear it every single week, and it fades away far faster than you’d think.
That’s exactly why my classes run the way they do. There’s no keeping up with anyone, no getting it ‘right’, and definitely no dressing to impress. Every exercise comes with options, so you move in whatever way feels good for your body that day, and honestly, most people do as much chatting and laughing as they do exercising. (More on my little bell in a moment.)
Meet Tracy
Tracy Fuller
I discovered Pilates a few years before Covid and quickly fell in love with it. At the time I was struggling with running injuries, along with stiffness in my back and hips. Pilates helped me move more comfortably, feel stronger, and understand my body in a completely different way.
I qualified just before Covid arrived, and when everything shut down I carried on teaching from my living room over Zoom. Originally my plan was simply one class a week alongside my day job, but something unexpected happened. I realised how much I loved helping people discover the same benefits I’d felt myself. One class soon became two, then three, and before I knew it I was teaching 13 classes a week.
I like to think of myself as someone who helps men and women feel better and get stronger, whatever age they start.
How I teach
Practice, not perfection
My classes flow, and no two weeks feel quite the same. Every exercise is layered across three levels, so you’re always in charge of how far you take it, contemporary in style, with a few classical touches, always grounded in proper Pilates, and never, ever rigid. Above all I keep it relaxed and fun, because I want you to genuinely enjoy moving. In fact, I keep a little bell to hand, and every so often I have to give it a ring, because everyone’s having far too good a natter before we’ve even started!
A teacher who gets it
A more mature teacher who has known pain and restricted movement first-hand, so nothing here feels out of reach, and nothing feels judged.
Options for every body
Every move comes with choices, so you can work in a way that suits your body today, and change your mind tomorrow if you need to.
Thirteen classes, your pace
With 13 classes a week you can switch times and levels whenever life, or your body, decides to shift the plan.

Jane Bright
Jane found Pilates 15 years ago while recovering from injury, and it made her stronger than ever. She retrained during lockdown and keeps studying, from pre and post-natal work to common orthopaedic conditions. Alongside Pilates, Jane is also a qualified Reiki therapist, and it shows: her classes are wonderfully calm and relaxed, a lovely gear change if you fancy something gentler.

Holly
Holly qualified with Future Fit just before Covid, and teaches a more classical style of Pilates, she’s known for working through two full sets of the hundred! Every move still comes with three options, so you can always find your own level. By day Holly teaches secondary school, so a room full of keen, motivated adults makes a very nice change.

Come and have a nosey.
Honestly, the best way to know if I’m your cup of tea is to come along. Grab four classes for £25, meet everyone, and see how it feels, no commitment, no pressure, and a very warm welcome (and probably a bit of a giggle).
